Tune-in. Holding. Recognizing Activation. Inner-Reparenting. Validation. Experiential.
Our THRIVE Program is designed to be the second program in a series following REPAIR. THRIVE is open to all REPAIR graduates and faculty, and will build on the somatic nervous system focused foundation of REPAIR, to invite experiential practice and skill building to deepen healing from relational trauma with a relational focus. THRIVE will equip us each with tools and practices to strengthen our inner-relationship with ourselves through an inner-reparenting process. Drawing on theories and modalities such as attachment theory, integral coaching, accelerated experiential dynamic psychotherapy (AEDP), internal family systems (IFS), and somatic experiencing (SE), small actionable steps and practices will be introduced to support intrapersonal healing and integration.

I know how to attune to myself internally, and locate myself on the triangle of experience. Practicing tuning-in with moment-to-moment tracking of my internal experience over time will lead to a healthier relationship with my own feelings and needs.

I know how to provide containment, holding environment, and "good enough" responsiveness for myself and loved ones. Practicing attending to cultivating an internal holding environment over time will lead to "earned secure attachment," and a more solid sense of self worth.

I know how to recognize the activation that occurs in my nervous system when triggered. Practicing recognizing activation over time will lead to the ability to cultivate and maintain stronger and healthier intrapersonal and interpersonal relationships.

I know how to turn inward to connect with my inner child and access the care of my inner loving parent. By acknowledging unmet needs and offering consistent internal care, I can shift long-held patterns. Practicing inner-reparenting over time will transform patterns of self-talk, and deepen my capacity for self-nurturing.

I know how to validate feelings and needs to affirm myself and others. Practicing validation over time will lead to a greater sense of feeling heard, seen, and known.

I know how to metaprocess and savor experiences to engage memory reconsolidation. Practicing over time to support positive neuroplasticity will help to encode transformation in implicit memory and support healing.

The THRIVE Program is for REPAIR graduates and faculty who feel comfortable and solid in integrating their understanding and skillfulness to work with their own nervous system in foundational ways to invite grounding, regulation, and the ability to return to an inner sense of calm and stability after a trigger.
THRIVE invites REPAIR grads to deepen into another dimension of recovering from interpersonal trauma: relational healing. This is invited through repairing relationship with Self through an inner-reparenting process to transform our patterns of relating our own needs and feelings in a more attuned way, and making space and possibility for healthier relationships with self and others.
THRIVE is well suited for individuals who are ready to work with the origins of their relational patterns through interaction with their inner-child, and to experientially rewire patterns to support expanded relational capacity.

The THRIVE program is not therapy, although much of the content does draw from therapeutic modalities.
What happens in the THRIVE program is not therapy, and it is not a substitute for therapy. Many THRIVE participants also partner with healing professionals such as therapists, coaches, or counselors before, during, or after THRIVE. The THRIVE program is supplemental to professional support in healing from interpersonal trauma.
THRIVE is an educational program designed to introduce psychoeducation concepts in a bite-sized and experiential way to support participants in developing skills and competencies to support themselves in their own healing journey.
In THRIVE we will spend 13 weeks building up competencies through simple easy to learn practices that will ultimately help participants to be better able to move toward a secure attachment style which results in an improvement in relationships with self and others. THRIVE aims to increase our skill in attuning to ourselves and others, creating a safe relational environment, validating needs and emotions, integrating relational healing in an experiential way, and exploring a new template to relate to our inner-child that can update our autobiographical narrative and internal working model of close relationships.
