Hello, my name is Alicia Hernandez Jimenez (she/her), and I am a senior at Cal State University, Fullerton. My goal is to become a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and find ways to make mental health more accessible, especially for marginalized communities. I am really looking forward to being a part of the digital outreach team at NI2C. I think mental health, advocacy, education, and accessibility are needed more than ever, and media is a great way to reach people. I am excited for the opportunity to work with, and be a part of a team with NI2C, I think I can learn a lot, as well as share my personal knowledge and experiences.

Hello! My name is Ana Rafaela Delfin, but I am perfectly okay with just Ana or even Summer. I am 20 years old and my pronouns are she/her. I am part of the Digital Outreach Team and I can’t wait to be in touch with everyone! I have always been in touch with social media or anything internet related. Whether it comes to video games to television or even the news, I am always updated on what is new.

I aspire to be a Marriage/Family Therapist, so that is why I am a Human Services Major at Cal State Fullerton. I am currently a third year and this is one of my first internships, so I can not wait to absorb all this new information and skills! 

My name is Deztiny De Los Rios, and I am a Psychology major. My pronouns are she/her. I am excited to be a member of the Digital Outreach Team at NI2C, where I will be contributing to projects that focus on communication, education, and community engagement through digital platforms. Being part of this team gives me the opportunity to build my outreach and collaboration skills while supporting NI2C’s mission. I hope to pursue a career in counseling or a related mental health field, as I am passionate about supporting others and promoting emotional well-being. Through my experience at NI2C, I am looking forward to learning from my peers, gaining hands-on experience, and continuing to build a strong foundation for my future career. I am very excited to be part of this program and look forward to learning throughout the semester.

My name is Jason Carson (he/him), and I am a senior at California State University, Fullerton, pursuing a B.S. in Human Services with a concentration in Mental Health. I began my first internship with NI2C during the summer of 2025 and will continue in the fall as part of the Peer Resource Navigation & ECM Training Team. I am most excited to finally get the chance to apply what I have gained academically to real-world work that supports individuals in accessing mental health services. After graduation, I plan on pursuing an M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling & Marriage and Family Therapy at California State University, Fullerton, with a long-term goal of working with veterans through the VA. As someone who has been serving in the U.S. Army Reserve for nearly four years and having spent more than half of that time in the Middle East, I have witnessed firsthand the lasting emotional impact that military service can have on an individual. I am most driven by a passion to break down the overwhelming barriers and stigma that often keep veterans from seeking the help they deserve.

Hi! My name is Joanne Azur (she/her), and I am a senior at California State University, Long Beach, currently working towards a B.A. in Psychology. I am 22 years old and I go by the pronouns she/her. I am thrilled to intern with NI2C on the Digital Outreach Team, where I aim to help strengthen the organization’s online presence and share its mission with a wider audience. As a psychology major, I have a strong interest in mental health and emotional well-being, as well as in how thoughtful communication can create meaningful change. I am aiming to pursue a career in social work, where I hope to support individuals through compassionate, research-informed care. I am particularly drawn to work that combines psychology with advocacy and community engagement. Through this internship, I hope to build skills in digital communication, collaboration, and strategic outreach, while learning how organizations use media and technology to create meaningful impact. I am excited to grow both personally and professionally, connect with my teammates, and contribute to projects that reflect my passion for mental health and social good. Outside of academics, I enjoy reflective writing, learning about human behavior, and engaging in conversations that promote understanding and connection around mental health. I also enjoy creating and sharing content that cherishes meaningful memories, as well as reading thoughtful mental health–focused pieces on platforms like Medium and Substack. I’m grateful for this opportunity and excited for the experiences ahead at NI2C.

My name is Monica Martinez (She/ Her). My major is Public Health with a Health Education and Promotion concentration. I am a part of the Digital Outreach team and I am very excited to contribute to the success of this team and all that NI2C stands for. My career goal is to become a health educator or program developer for communities that need it the most. I hope to promote others to be proactive about their health and how to properly do so. I am eager to complete my degree in the next few months and step into the professional world of public health to make positive changes in our communities.

Hello, my name is Angelica Ochoa (she/her), and I am a senior at California State University, Fullerton. I am majoring in Psychology with a minor in Philosophy. I am looking forward to intern for NI2C in the research program. After I graduate, I plan on attending grad school to become a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I am excited to gain this opportunity to further my understanding of mental health and the field. As a first-generation college student, I want to continue to further my education and provide for my family the way they provided for me. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, trying new things, and going to the beach.

Hello, I’m Diya Thakkar (she/her). I currently attend California State University

Fullerton, and I’m double-majoring in Psychology and Sociology. I will be joining the Project Research Team at Nested Integral Coaching Constellation. I also work as a Behavioral Technician (BT) and just received my Registered Behavior Technician certification. I enjoy my

work as a BT and love supporting and guiding kids. Alongside this, I am interested in exploring other psychology-related careers. My long-term career goal is to work in the mental health field.

I am currently researching and exploring different paths, including psychiatric nursing or a PHD program. In my free time, I love exploring new cities, going to the beach, hanging out with my

friends, and painting.

My name is Julia Gabra (she/her), and I am currently a junior at California State University, Fullerton, pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. I plan to graduate in Spring 2027. I am beginning my internship with NI2C in the Spring of 2026 as part of the Program Research Team, where I am excited to contribute to meaningful, community-centered research. I find research especially engaging because it allows me to better understand human behavior, and I enjoy reading as it helps me grow my understanding of human behavior and deepen my knowledge of psychological theory. My career goals involve becoming a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist after earning my Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology. Once I have my graduate degree and I am licensed, I hope to work directly with individuals to support their mental health, emotional well-being, and personal growth. Outside of academics, I enjoy connecting with nature, especially spending time at the beach.

Laurelle (she/her) is an undergraduate student studying Psychology at California State University, Fullerton. She is currently an intern for the Program Research Team at NI2C and is excited to not only learn from her peers, but also collaborate in trauma-focused research. She is passionate about emotional wellness and mental health, and feels strongly about utilizing her research skills to contribute to psychological studies. In addition to mental health research, she is interested in research design and product development that caters to the human experience, making it more accessible and efficient. Although she often takes a creative approach to design, with skills including adobe web design, she looks forward to utilizing her psychological understanding to further improve performance and development efforts.

Hi everyone! My name is Madisyn Morlet and I am currently a senior psychology major at Cal State Fullerton. My team project is couples counseling and research for this internship! I currently work in ABA and have absolutely loved getting to learn more about the field, work with kiddos, and expand my knowledge! I definitely want to expand my knowledge regarding other psychology fields before deciding what I want to study in graduate school, which is why I am super excited for this opportunity to learn more about a new field! There is so much to learn in the field of psychology and I am taking advantage of my undergraduate studies to allow myself to immerse myself in all aspects of psychology, even the ones I’m not familiar with! I cannot wait to learn alongside an amazing group of mentors and peers and am excited/grateful for this internship!

My name is Sehr Khairi (she/her), and I am currently a Human Services major at California State University, Fullerton. I am beginning my internship with NI2C as a member of the Program Research Team, where I hope to gain hands-on experience in non-clinical research and program evaluation while developing skills that support community-based work. I am passionate about social justice, mental health awareness, and improving access to supportive services for underserved and immigrant communities. Through this internship, I aim to strengthen my understanding of research-informed practices and how data can be used to improve programs and better serve diverse populations. In the future, I hope to pursue a career in social services or community organizations where I can combine research, advocacy, and direct support to create meaningful and lasting impact.

Hi, I’m Graciele (Grace) Mareposque (she/her), a Public Health senior at San Francisco State University. My academic interests are centered around community health and health equity, especially understanding how access to resources and structural factors shape health outcomes. I hope to pursue a Master’s in Health Administration to continue learning how health systems can better serve communities. As part of the Podcast Team at NI2C, I’m excited to build skills in collaboration and storytelling while learning how meaningful conversations can support health equity work.

 Hi! I’m Jennifer Alvarado (she/her), a Senior at Cal State Fullerton majoring in Human Services. I’m really excited to be back for my second internship with Nested Integral Coaching Constellation on the Podcast team. My first experience here was so positive and meaningful that I knew I wanted to return and continue building on what I learned. As a first-generation college student and a mom, going back to school has been a journey. I’ve balanced parenting, work, and online classes, usually squeezing in homework late at night after putting my child to bed. Those experiences motivated me to support student-parents, adult learners, transfer students, and anyone returning to school while pregnant or juggling multiple responsibilities. I’m grateful to be back, and I’m looking forward to growing even more this time around and using what I learn to make a difference in my future career.

Hello, my name is Jeslyn Mae Atienza ( she/her ) but most people call me Jes! I’m a senior at San Francisco State University majoring in Public Health. I hope to have a career that aligns with my major and goal, which has always been to do something that helps people. As well as being able to also fulfill my creative side while having a career in Public Health which I have been working on for some time.

I’m excited to be a part of the Podcast Team and to see what amazing things me and my fellow interns will create! I listen to podcasts in my free time often so to gain some experience is something I am looking forward to learning and working on.

Outside of school I enjoy a variety of hobbies; creating art, crocheting, collecting things such as CDs and books, playing video games, and I try to dabble in language learning!

Hi my name is Joanna Aguilar (she/her) and I am a fourth year student at California State University, Fullerton, majoring in Psychology and minoring in American Studies. I am excited to join the Podcast team and explore my passion for mental health advocacy through a unique form of media. After earning my bachelors degree, I plan on pursuing a masters in order to work in either a nonprofit or school setting, supporting individual healing and growth while advocating for the importance of community and reducing mental health stigmas. When I am not at school or work, I enjoy playing and collecting vinyl records, exploring hiking trails with my dogs, or playing guitar.

 Hi, I’m Natalie Van Jindelt (she/her), I’m a senior at Cal State Fullerton and will

graduate this spring! My major is Cinema and Television Arts, with no particular focus but I enjoy directing, editing, and writing. I am excited to join the Podcast team as an editor here at NI2C. Outside of film, I am passionate about music, acting, nature, and animals. Like many film majors out here, I currently work at Disneyland and have met some wonderful people while being there. I am still fairly new to the Orange County area so I’m always striving to create and join new communities.

As someone who is affected by mental obstacles in my everyday life, I feel very

passionate about mental health and am constantly searching for healthy habits to

incorporate into my daily routine. I find value in both naturopathic and medical

treatments, and personally enjoy the balance of using both. Though I enjoy simple

practices such as listening to music, doing yoga and journaling, I want to explore new routes, such as somatic or emdr exercises, that might better improve my well-being. One goal that I am carrying into this year is to do the big things that scare me, and embrace the discomfort that may come with it. I am excited to join the REPAIR program as well, and look forward to getting to know everyone!

Hello! I am Queen Vanessa Banks, and I am honored to join the N12C Podcast Team, where I look forward to expanding my horizons in social media and AI and using these tools effectively to support individuals living with mental health challenges. As a mental health survivor and advocate, I am committed to community-based healing, trauma-informed practice, and social equity. My professional goal is to build a mental health practice that examines the impact of hating and manipulative behaviors, systemic racism, and historical trauma, while helping individuals identify purpose, accountability, and ethical engagement within society.

I was born and raised in Hunters Point, San Francisco, and my work is grounded in lived experience shaped by structural inequities, including exposure to substance use disorder, educational trauma, Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), and incarceration-impacted environments. I am a survivor of the War on Drugs, and these experiences continue to inform my approach to culturally responsive and restorative mental health work. I earned my Associate of Science in Behavioral Science in 2018 from City College of San Francisco, where I am a proud alumna. I am a Certified Wellness Coach through the State of California, a newly elected Board Member of San Francisco NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness), and I am currently working toward a mental health certification, with an emphasis on repair, restoration, and emotional wellness. I am also a proud mother/grandmother, a role that deeply influences my commitment to healing, accountability, and generational well-being. I value collaborative learning spaces and seek to promote diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB) through both academic study and practice. In my personal time, I enjoy reading, listening to music, meditating, and socializing, and I am currently deepening my spiritual journey toward becoming a goddess of the shamans, integrating spiritual growth with mental wellness and personal empowerment.

My name is Shaun, and I’m a student, currently working toward my BA in Psychology at Cal State Long Beach. I’m a trauma‐informed storyteller dedicated to healing, narrative justice, and community transformation. As a Podcast Intern with NI2C, I’m excited to help shape Season 2 of the Nested Healing podcast by weaving together voices, stories, and systems‐level insight. My work centers on creating conversations that hold space for resilience, cultural wisdom, and collective growth. I’m passionate about using storytelling, emotional intelligence, and community dialogue to inspire connection, empowerment, and healing across our communities.
