Vicky (they/them) is an alumni from California State University, Fullerton with a Bachelor's in Psychology and a minor in Asian American Studies. They first started off as an intern at NI2C during their senior year of college. They are currently a part of the Emerging Leadership Council as the Program Research ______, supporting interns in developing and designing research posters and a workbook for the upcoming THRIVE program with their own experience with research design and content creation. They are focused on promoting and supporting resilient communities through mental health and its resources. From their own personal experiences as a first-generation student, they noticed that there was a severe lack of mental health within their own community and family. Being able to access mental health resources is crucial and life-changing to one, which should be accessible to all.
